Implant Dentistry

Single Implant

After tooth extraction or if the tooth is congenitally missing, we at An Amazing Smile could place an implant to restore the space, and in most cases could place a temporary crown on the implant the day of the surgery.

Multiple Implants

Multiple implants could be placed beside each other and a bridge fabricated to restore the space and function.  Healing time is needed in this case before a permanent bridge is attached.

Full Mouth Implants

6-8 implants or more could be placed in each arch (jaw) to replace missing teeth.  Then a full prostheses is placed to give the patient the full function as they had with their previous natural teeth.

All-on-4 Restoration

There are many options to restore lost teeth, one of the most in demand options is All-on-4 dental implants restoration. As the name suggests this technique allows you to restore all the teeth in one jaw using 4 special implants in a special configuration. This is a great option to consider if you are looking for a permanent, strong solution that will restore function, self esteem and bring back your amazing smile.

What are the advantages of all on 4 restorations?

  • The process is relatively short and the results are beautiful.
  • Your natural smile is restored with a restoration that looks and feels real.
  • Your natural speech is restored and tuned.
  • It is non-removable unlike dentures.
  • All 4 implants are placed in one surgery only.

Why should I replace lost teeth as soon as possible?

  • Missing teeth can affect several things in your lifestyle and even your health, lack of proper nutrition due to inability to consume food can have a detrimental effect on your overall health.
  • A space created due to a lost tooth, can affect the neighboring and the opposing teeth. The neighboring teeth tend to drift and incline to fill the empty space and the opposing tooth will overgrow to fill the space as well, this can affect your appearance and make it uncomfortable to chew.

What is the process of getting an All-on-4 Restoration like?

  • The process starts with getting an initial consultation to determine your eligibility for an All-on-4 restoration. One of your experienced dentists will review your x-rays, take several measurements, review your general health status and perform an intraoral examination. Once you are diagnosed and you are a good candidate for an All-on-4 restoration, surgery is scheduled.
  • On surgery day, an anesthetic is administered along with the necessary sedation, the 4 implants are placed in place along with a temporary restoration until the tissues heal.
  • After the procedure is complete, you are given the necessary medications and instructions. A follow up appointment is usually scheduled a week later to check on the progress of your healing and remove your sutures.
  • After a few months when your bone structurally bonds to the implants, your final restoration is placed, and now you have an amazing new smile.
